The coming mechanics to improve that just make it sweeter.Already players can recruit provincially, so a swordsman company raised in Altdorf wears blue/red, while just next door the player can raise a statistically identical company of troops but they'll be wearing the black/red of Wissenland, the Red/Yellow of Talabecland or the Black/Yellow of Averland. It makes campaign armies that much more awesome, as I deploy my Averland & Wissenland raised armies to the badlands to fight the orc invasions and my Imperial or Nordland armies fight Chaos. The tools available to modders to create their own regiments of renown have the workshop populated with dozens of unique regiments already, and it's really up to each players discretion as to how and what they want to add.
